Garden Outlet USA is an Arizona-based online store that ships planter pots from San Diego California. Our factory has been located in Tijuana Baja Mexico since 2010.  Everyday we cross pots from Tijuana to San Diego in order to fulfill our customer orders or to fill up our San Diego inventory. Even though our online store www.gardenoutletusa.com started in March 2025, our factory has been supplying many happy West Coast customers since 2010 including homeowners, plant nurseries, gardeners, landscapers, garden centers, and businesses, filling their spaces with original and simple design solutions.  

www.GardenOutletUSA.com offers two catalogs to customers, an IN-STOCK catalog that includes ready to ship pots located in our San Diego inventory, these pots would ship within 24 hours after your purchase. The second catalog offers ON-DEMAND-FULFILLMENT pots, so your pot would be manufactured from scratch and therefore it would take 4 to 6 weeks to deliver your order.

Our ceramic pots are made from the highest quality terracotta clay. They do not peel off, their color and shine are permanent thanks to the baking and painting process that we give them in our factory. Before putting them in the oven, they are coated with paint formulated by our factory experts, they are placed in an oven heated to 3600 Fahrenheit for 9 hours, there the exterior paint melts with the minerals in the pot to create a crystallized ceramic, for these are also called glazed clay pots and finally they are allowed to cool slowly in the same oven for 24 hours to avoid cracks. It is thanks to this baking process that the paint on each pot obtains its extraordinary shine, resistance to heat, sun and rain.

Our Garden Outlet factory was established in Tijuana Baja Mexico in year 2010. Our factory is a family business dedicated to the manufacture of high temperature ceramic pottery, metal garden ornaments and fiberglass containers. Our goal is to 100% satisfy our customer´s quality standards. Our ceramic models and colors have been very successful due to their appearance of natural rocks.

OUR HISTORY:

In 1995, after managing a company of camper shells, our founder Wences Orozco Senior, created the company Fiber Designs dedicated to the manufacture of race cars autoparts, mannequins and bathroom sinks.  After a few years of gaining experience in fiber glass production, Gainey Ceramics Company asked him to design and produce fiberglass containers entering the world of pottery, there he was capable of improving the quality standards that the company demanded.

In 1998, he was invited to partner with the company Native Earth Products where he worked as general manager during 12 years, learning the area of clay and ceramics. In 2010, he decided to separate from the company and proposed the owners to buy Native Earth Products.

In 2011, he started his own company Garden Outlet USA.  With many difficulties due to the economic crisis of that time and without working capital, but with his wife Lourdes and son Wences Junior, gradually managed to place their products in the American and Mexican markets.

Made with ground natural stones our unique "Granite" finishes are spectacular. Its neutral and opaque colors offer excellent decoration in any outdoor or indoor environment, highlighting the color and shapes of any type of plant, looking very Nature-friendly.

Garden Outlet USA sells to general public.

No minimum order quantity is required for ceramic or fiberglass orders. Garden Outlet USA will calculate the delivery cost and add it to your final order confirmation. 

Garden Outlet USA offers two catalogs to customers: an IN-STOCK planter´s catalog which include ready to ship pots, these orders would typically deliver within 3 to 7 days from the day of your purchase. The second catalog calle ON-DEMAND-FULFILLMENT include other planter´s models and colors that would need to be manufactured at our factory from scratch, this option would take 4 to 6 weeks to deliver after your purchase.

RETURNS POLICY

All of our ceramics are handmade, making each pot a unique piece of art. Our team goes to great lengths to ensure you receive beautiful, blemish-free pottery.

Our satisfaction guarantee allows you to return any non-clearance items within 30 days of purchase. If your ceramic, planter, pot, or other product does not meet your expectations and is not damaged, contact our store, and we will be happy to help you with a refund or replacement within 7 days of receiving the return.

Over 99% of our shipments arrive safely, and all our shipped orders come with insurance. If your product is damaged in any way during shipping, we will offer a refund or exchange. Simply send us a photo of the damaged item, and one of our associates will promptly process your request.

MISSING OR DAMAGED ITEMS

Inspect your shipment for signs of damages upon arrival. You may refuse the shipment should you consider the damage severe. If you choose to accept the shipment from the carrier, please make a note on the BOL (bill of lading) of any damage to the merchandise or packaging. If the driver will not stay please note in the BOL that you were unable to check concealed damage.

Submit a completed Damage Report along with photos of the damage, the cartons and packing materials. If damages are not noted at the time of delivery, we will not have arguments with the shipper.

Manufacturing hand-crafted ceramic pottery is subject to variation due to an inherent variability in raw materials and production processes.  Glaze Colors like Moss, Cream, Cocoa and Coffee with unstable components in its formula may contain higher levels of variation. Tiny crackles or spider webbings is natural to ceramic planters.

 

CARING FOR YOUR PLANTERS

 

CERAMICS POTTERY:

Regular Glaze Finish:

Clean the piece regularly with a cloth. If it is not cleaned regularly, minerals contained in the soil may appear that are more difficult to clean. Use some white vinegar diluted in water. WD-40 oil is very good for cleaning this type of stains. Some types of soil and water may contain excess of minerals and may require cleaning more consistently (as every 2 weeks).

Planters should never have excess water; let it leave the water without obstructing the drain hole. Do not use stones or heavy objects inside the pot. Excess weight can break the planter.

 

- Stone Finish:

Clean the piece regularly with a simple paint brush or plastic brush. Don't use cloth. The hose jet cleans them very well. This is a very resistant finish and does not require care. You can apply some water based sealer if you want a less opaque appearance.

Garden Outlet USA utilizes cardboard, shrink-wrap, pallet, strappings and other packaging materials to the shape of the ceramics within the box, creating custom cushions for every pot. As a result, over 99% of our deliveries arrive unchipped and in pristine condition. We want to ensure your package is safe from even the rowdiest delivery personnel.

Fiberglass orders due to size and shape of planters may have different shipping cost. That information will be noted in your order confirmation.

How Are Your Ceramics Packaged at Our Store?

We pack all orders according to their exact size and weight to get you the best shipping rate possible. Anything too large for UPS or USPS is packaged as a Less Than Truckload (LTL) order. Larger orders are assembled and secured on custom pallets or crated by hand. Smaller items, approximately 100 lbs. or less, can usually fit into a shipping box. Some of the steps we take to protect your ceramics include the following:

·         We choose the best-looking piece of pottery from our yard. Our team inspects each piece for cracks or blemishes before shipment.

·         Our packer chooses the appropriate size package from our assortment of durable double-corrugated boxes, wooden crates, or pallets. We make sure the pot fits with plenty of breathing room for the packing foam.

·         With your pot in the box, we carefully place fresh foam sheets into the package. The foam expands, creating a protective layer around your piece. We check to ensure there are no gaps and that your item is secure.

·         Finally, our warehouse team outfits the sealed package with durable nylon straps.

If your order is too large for one of our sturdy cardboard boxes, it will be packaged in a crate. Our crates are made from fresh plywood and fortified for long-distance shipping. Filling crates with foam takes extra time, but it ensures a safe, clean shipment.

Sometimes our orders are too large for even a crate. In this case, we ship your pottery on a sturdy wooden pallet. First, we construct a barrier around your pots using plywood and heavy-duty straps. Then, our team fills the empty space around your ceramics with fresh foam.  We also add "Fragile" stickers to the exterior of the parcel for extra insurance.

All orders will be shipped out from San Diego California. The cost of shipping will be added to your order confirmation depending of the destination. Garden Outlet USA absorbs the cost of cardboard, shrink-wrap, pallet and other packaging materials for a regular shipment.  Additional services such as residential lift-gates or any other requests may have additional charges.

All our products are one-of-a-kind and handmade, meaning no two pieces are exactly alike. We've selected an image that best represents each product type for our website inventory. When you purchase this item, our team will hand-select your unique item from our inventory. There may be slight variations in color, finish, glaze, size, etc. If you have a specific request or want a photo of what we've pulled before shipment, our team will happily ensure your order exceeds expectations.

Do you ship?

At Garden Outlet USA, we use a robust shipping network to pass the savings on to you. For orders up to 60 pounds, we use UPS ground shipping. For orders 61 pounds or over, we use a network of freight carriers and pack your order on pallets. We use top-of-the-line, custom-packaging products to ensure your order arrives in perfect condition. Our breakage rate is less than 1%, so you can be confident that your order will get to you safely and securely. However, if your ceramics arrived damaged in any way, send a photo of the damage to support@gardenoutletusa.com, and we will refund or exchange the item.

Do you sell indoor pottery or outdoor pottery?

All of our pottery can be used for indoor or outdoor use. Nothing is “weatherproof,” but our pottery is “weather resistant” and, with proper care is perfectly suited for outside or inside. We offer an extensive range of products that can be used in any environment. If you have a particular project that requires some planning, our team of experts can guide you through the process.

 

Will my pot have a hole?

Unless a product explicitly states otherwise, all our planters and pots come with a drainage hole.  We can drill a drainage hole on the spot if needed or if you’d like to turn one of our other ceramic decorations into a planter.  All our drainage holes are one and 3/8th inches.
